About Me
I am Dr. Vasily Sidorov, but I am more often known by the username bazzilic. I was a Research Fellow at Cyber Security Lab and a Lecturer at Nanyang Technological University. I am a (co-)founder of several startups, a member of several advisory boards, and an angel investor.
I received a Ph.D. in computer science from Nanyang Technological University in 2016 and a master's degree focused on probability theory, statistics, and financial modeling, from the School of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics at Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia) in 2011.
That same year, I graduated with a master's degree from the School of Public Administration at the same university, majoring in organizational management.
Research Interests
I am deeply fascinated by several topics. In the domain of Data Security, I am interested in privacy-preserving storage and processing of structured and semi-structured data on untrusted platforms such as public clouds or blockchains. In the domain of Machine Learning, I am currently toying with self-maintaining general-purpose agentic workspaces.
